God's purpose is to give us life that is truly life. He wants to take our mortality, which is sin-filled and finite, and give us eternal life. He wants to give us His life. Life lived with Him in His presence. Although it begins now with our deliverance from slavery, it culminates in our bodies becoming immortal reflecting His glory. Death will be swallowed up
